Stolen vehicle recovered in eMdloti

This was the second stolen vehicle with a tracking device, to be recovered last week. The first was found at a chop shop in Amatikwe.

SWIFT action resulted in the recovery of a stolen vehicle within 30 minutes by teams who were deployed to track it down.

According to Marshall Security’s Tyron Powell, a member of the public flagged down a response vehicle in eMdloti, after noticing that their white Toyota Fortuner had been stolen from outside their premises.

“The vehicle was fitted with a tracking device and within half an hour of tracking, was recovered in Ntuzuma B Section, still idling, but the suspects were nowhere to be seen,” he said.

The vehicle was handed over to the SAPS for further investigations and processing.
