I Heart Market returns to Moses Mabhida Stadium this weekend

After 20 months of closure, the market will make its return to the lawns outside the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

THE much-loved I Heart Market will make a welcome return to the lawns outside the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, November 27.

Entrance to the market is free and dogs (on leashes) are welcome, said the owner of the market, Anna Savage.

“After 20 months of pandemic realness, we are so happy to announce that the I Heart Market, which provides trading opportunities for 80 small businesses, is returning for festive season. And we are delighted to be back on the lawns of the stadium, a popular and convenient spot for all,” she said.

“The market is all about supporting small, local businesses. You will never find any imports or mass manufactured products. We pride ourselves in finding interesting and exciting products produced by our local, creative community. So expect to find old favourites – from homemade pastries, local cheeses and olives, locally designed home furnishings and accessories,” said Savage.

The trading dates for the upcoming markets are November 27, and December 4 and 11. The market will return in the new year on January 8. Operating hours are from 8:30 to 14:00.
