LUKE Lotter, a Grade 12 learner at Crawford College, is a member of the U23 South African Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team that will participate in the 2022 IWBF U23 Men’s World Championship Qualifiers in Johannesburg from December 4 to 12.

The world championship takes place in Chiba, Japan in June 2022. Luke was also recently selected as part of the senior men’s squad as well the senior men’s 3×3 squad, that recently qualified to take part in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Luke also represented an All-Stars team in South Africa’s Premier Senior League, the Supersport Wheelchair Basketball Series in 2020, and the eThekwini Spears Franchise in 2021.
At the recent Crawford International La Lucia Valediction, Luke was awarded senior full colours for wheelchair basketball.
