Durban North baker shares her bread recipe

“If you have enough ingredients, why not make a loaf or two for those in need? Let's spread a little love,” - Jocelyn Cunningham.

A DURBAN North home baker is spreading the love in the midst of all the chaos by sharing her quick, easy and delicious bread recipe.

As Durban, and the entire province, have been looted of groceries, essentials and supplies, Durban North residents are on the hunt for bread recipes, as this basic food item is seemingly nowhere to found.

Speaking to Northglen News, Jocelyn Cunningham said in a time of crisis, it’s all about working together.

“These are desperate times, so I just wanted to help our community by sharing this easy, four ingredient bread recipe. What’s really fantastic about this recipe is that you don’t need yeast. These four ingredients are likely to be found in nearly everyone’s kitchen,” said Cunningham.

With the current shortage of fresh bread in our stores, Durban North’s Jocelyn Cunningham shares her simple, four-ingredient bread recipe.
She encouraged those who can, to bake an extra loaf for a friend or a neighbour.

“If you have enough ingredients, why not make a loaf or two for those in need? Let’s spread a little love,” she said.

“I baked this one with water as I have no milk and it was amazing,” added Cunningham.
