Covid-19 vaccine to be administered at Greenwood Park hall

Those who received their first vaccine can receive the second dose at the Greenwood Park Community Hall.

WARD 34 and ward 36 residents who are over the age of 60 and have registered to take the Covid-19 vaccine can do so on 6 and 7 July at the Greenwood Park Community Hall from 8.00 to 16.00.

Ward 34 councillor, Bobby Maharajh, said he advises residents who have registered to take this opportunity to obtain the vaccine.

“I have had several calls from residents wanting more information about the vaccination drive. A small percentage of people are still reluctant to take the vaccine and it is their democratic right to do so, but I am pleased to know, from my knowledge, that the majority of ward 34 residents are keen on it,” said Maharajh.
He added that those who received their first vaccine can get the second dose at the Greenwood Park Community Hall as well.

“If you are over 60 years old and did not have the vaccine please ensure that you are registered and carry your ID Book/Smart Card with you to be vaccinated. If you received the first round of the vaccine, please come and get the second one and bring with you whatever documentation, if any, that you were given with the first vaccine,” said Maharajh.
