WATCH: Burst pipe on Effingham Road causes water outage
It is not known when water will be restored in the area. Some of the affected streets are Mimosa Road, Rosary Road and Cheron Road.
RESIDENTS and motorists are asked to exercise caution when approaching Effingham Road in Greenwood Park, as repairs to a bust water pipe are underway.

Greenwood Park resident, Andrew Akkers, said the main arterial water pipe burst this morning while trenches for fibre optic cables were being excavated.
“The eThekwini Municipality has switched off the water so most of Greenwood Park is affected. Plumbers are currently working on repairing the pipes,” said Akkers.
It is not known when water will be restored in the area. Some of the affected streets are Mimosa Road, Rosary Road and Cheron Road.
