Three arrested for theft on Old North Coast Road

The suspects were handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS.

THREE suspects were arrested on Saturday on Old North Coast Road for their role in the theft of a steel beam from a local business.

According to Marshall Security spokesperson, Tyron Powell, a reaction officer spotted the suspects pushing a trolley down the road and detained them.

“The three suspects were arrested immediately and while waiting for the SAPS to arrive, a business owner drove past and saw the beam,” Powell explained. 

“The client identified it as one from his company and our officer accompanied him to his premises where they discovered the fence had been cut. The suspects were handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing.”
