Prevent accidental poisoning at home with these tips

Netcare 911 advised parents to keep medicines, household chemicals, cleaning products, alcohol and gardening pesticides away from children.

AS lockdown regulations increase during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Netcare 911 paramedics have released a safety guide with tips to prevent accidental poisonings in the home.

In an informative flyer, Netcare 911 advised parents and guardians to take preventative measures to keep children safe.

Parents are urged to store potentially toxic or poisonous items in cupboards with safety locks installed.
