Four injured in early morning accident on M4

The driver and three passengers sustained moderate injuries in the rollover confirmed paramedics.

FOUR people were lucky to escape serious injury in rollover accident on the M4 Ruth First Highway in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson, paramedics responded to the accident scene close to 1am just before the Durban North off-ramp on the M4.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in a rollover. Medics assessed the patients and found that three adult female passengers had sustained moderate injuries and the driver, an adult male had sustained minor injuries,” he said.

Herbst added once the patients were treated they were transported to hospital for further treatment.
