Being a Feminist, Sholain Perumal believes in every women’s right to be successful. Hence her passion to empower, upskill and motivate women from all walks of life. For many years, women have been programmed to believe that they are not meant to be in positions of power and that they are inferior and not capable, but the truth is WOMEN ARE MORE THAN JUST CAPABLE.
Sholain’s involvement in Women and Youth Empowerment comes from her seeing too many abused women who end up in hospital or worse by the hands of their partners. Youth empowerment comes in where she believes that young women should be taught at an early age to respect themselves and aim for greatness and teach young men to respect and not abuse women, so the mindset of the new generation of people can be changed.
