Makro launches grocery and liquor delivery with OneCart

The move comes in line with government's level 3 lockdown regulations.

TO ensure they meet the needs of its customers, in excess of 11 000 items of Makro’s grocery range will be available on OneCart’s website for purchase. In addition, a select range of approximately 124 liquor items, are also available online, with a strict adherence to government’s lockdown level 3 liquor sales regulations. Minimum quantities are in place, in order to support responsible drinking as well as ensure that all customers have fair access to the drinks that they enjoy.

The service is currently available for both food and liquor at Makro Store Cornubia.

What is OneCart?

OneCart is a multi-store, online shopping marketplace that allows you to shop from all your favourite stores and supermarkets, on one app, and get your order delivered same-day or scheduled in advance.

How does it work?

Visit www.onecart.co.za or download the OneCart app. Add your delivery address in the address bar and start shopping from a Makro and/or Makro Liquor Store near you. You can order your groceries and liquor (where available) at the same time and have it all delivered for R45. Once you check out, your order will be packed and delivered to you. If the items you selected are low or out of stock, the OneCart Shopper will communicate with you via the in-app chat or by calling you to offer substitute items.

You may also choose the substitutes you prefer before completing your order on the app or website. This will help guide your OneCart Shopper during the picking and packing of your order. If you prefer not to receive any substitutes, you can also specify this on the app or website. Look out for the OneCart receipt email after the order is complete.

For order related queries, email orders@onecart.co.za. For general queries, email hello@onecart.co.za. Alternatively call 087 701 6726 for more information.
