Man dies in horrific M4 bike accident

Paramedics found the man deceased on arrival.

A MAN (30) was killed in a fatal motor bike accident on the M4 Ruth First Highway’s Durban-bound carriage way in Durban North on Friday at about 1.30pm.

“The motor cycle was found engulfed in flames. Paramedics found the man deceased on arrival,” said spokesperson for Crisis Medical Paramdeics, Kyle Van Reeneen.

Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to the scene of the accident, just past the Swapo Road bridge. The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage.

“Reports from the scene indicate the motor cyclist was traveling toward Durban when he lost control of his motor cycle,” said Van Reenen.

SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
