Armed men rob luxury Gateway watch shop

The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a blue Datsun parked on Palm Boulevard.

DURBAN North SAPS are looking for two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a luxury watch store at Gateway Theatre of Shopping on Sunday morning.

According to Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, the incident occurred at 11.30am at the TAG Heuer shop.

“The suspects held up two members of staff, a security guard and a patron. The suspects, who were both armed, forced one of the staff members into the back office and demanded the safe be opened. They removed a large amount of cash, merchandise and stole the cell phones of the four victims. They then fled the scene in a blue Datsun that was parked outside the shopping mall.
