Effingham brothers found safely after four day search

Tyran Phillips and Roland Phillips had been missing since Friday last week.

GREENWOOD Park SAPS have confirmed that brothers, Tyran (13) and Roland Phillips (14) have been found safe an returned home to their family.

Station spokesman, Capt Jerome Slater, said the boys had been missing since Friday, 31 January.

“The boys are back with their family and we thank everyone who helped bring them back. They were found unharmed on one of the beaches. I cannot divulge any further details,” he said.

Yesterday, their mother, Joey Phillips urged residents to be on the lookout for the boys.

They had last been seen at a park on Avoca Road on Friday, 31 January at about 6pm.
