Durban North man robbed, assaulted in driveway

The suspects, using a white BMW, made off with the resident's gold chain and Rolex watch.

A DURBAN North man was assaulted and robbed of his valuables in his driveway by three armed men on Monday afternoon.

According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the victim had pulled into his Oxford Drive home when he was confronted by the gang in his driveway.

“The suspects, driving a white BMW, followed the homeowner into his driveway. They were armed with firearms and struck the homeowner across his face in the incident. They then stole his gold chain and what is believed to be a Rolex watch,” he said.

Van Reenen added the victim sustained moderate injuries in the assault and was transported to hospital by Crisis Medical.

No arrests have yet been made.
