Don’t miss out on SPCA Christmas market

According to spokesperson, Tanya Fleischer, the special market day starts at 5pm (to 8pm) at their premises in Springfield Park.

THE Durban & Coast SPCA has urged the community to support their upcoming Christmas night market on Tuesday, 17 December. According to spokesperson, Tanya Fleischer, the special market day starts at 5pm (to 8pm) at their premises in Springfield Park.

“Shoppers can enjoy the various Christmas crafts and second hand goods on sale on the day. There will also be coffee and cake at Coffee Cats café. We are going to have a DJ there as well as a gin and beer bar. Most of our regular stall holders will be there with the addition of a few extra stallholders and we are hoping the community comes out in support of the event,” she said.

Fleischer said the charity shop will also be open on the evening.

She encouraged those visiting the market to donate where they can cat and dog food.

“In November alone we had over 900 cats and 650 dogs brought in and our biggest need at the moment is having enough food for our furbabies. Our stocks are low and if possible, we urge the community to donate pet food to help us with our needs,” said Fleischer.

The Durban & Coast SPCA Christmas Market takes place on Tuesday, 17 December from 5pm to 8pm at the association’s premises at 2 Willowfield Crescent, Springfield Park.
