WHILE Gateway Theatre of Shopping was busy at 10am today, shoppers said it was not as busy as they had expected for Black Friday.
Preosh Ramsany travelled from Phoenix to take advantage of the groceries specials at the mall.
” I got quite a few bargains. It is shocking how quiet it has been,” she said.

Another shopper, Nonhlanhla Shezi, had travelled from KwaMashu.
“I chose to shop today because there are decreased prices for many items on Black Friday. I chose Gateway because there are fewer people and its not so busy,” she said.
