WATCH: The Boks raise the winning trophy for the first time in uMhlanga

Watch how a fan meets Makazole Mapimpi in uMhlanga and almost loses her mind.

HUNDREDS of Springbok fans have lined the streets of uMhlanga to get a glimpse of their heroes. We have heard some children saying they skipped school to be there, while others have been camped outside Garden Court in Centenary Boulevard since 5am this morning to welcome the Boks.

A Reddam House Umhlanga learner, Alysa Dunford was their with her parents, Steve and Debra Dubford.

The crowd sang the national anthem and chanted ‘We are the champions’ as the Bokke came out of the hotel to get on their parade bus.

Fans vied for autographs and selfies with their favourite Bokke.

And while all the fans are super excited, Lebo Lehana from Newlands East was left in tears after she met Makazole Mapimpi.

For a second or two, Lehanawho who said she took off work to be there, did not know how to operate her cell phone.

However, Mapimpi stepped in and Lehana finally managed snapped her selfie.

The Rugby World Cup winners are in Durban this morning as part of their nation-wide tour.
