Kidnapped girl found in uMhlanga mall

The suspect was spotted shopping at a mall in uMhlanga.

SAPS confirmed that missing child, Amahle Mthimkhulu (8) was found outside an uMhlanga mall this afternoon. The child was allegedly taken from outside Dawnview Primary School in KwaDukuza on Wednesday afternoon.

KZN police spokesperson, Col Thembeka Mbele said police worked tirelessly to find the child.

“The kidnappers were arrested due to tireless police efforts. A suspect was seen at a shop in the mall and through police interrogation, she led police to the parking lot where the child was found in a vehicle with another male suspect,” said Mbele.

Saps took the suspects in for questioning.
