“Last year’s event was a resounding success and we hope for more of the same this year. The ROX Beach Classic event caters for all ages and fitness levels, from the elite runner and fat-bike rider to the casual walker. With a choice of four different events, there is a distance to suit everyone.

“Runners can choose between the 14km, 8km or 4km family fun run/walk routes, while fat-bike riders tackle the 14km route. All routes start and finish at the ROX clubhouse,” she explained.

Race routes are along the beach and will be marshalled with water points at uMhlanga Lagoon, Peace Cottage and eMdloti tidal pool.
