BELOVED Egoli actress Christine Basson has died at age 78. Christine was best known for her role as Nora Naude in the M-Net soapie.
According to online reports, Basson died after apparently battling with failing health at a high-care unit at the Ekklesiapark retirement village in Johannesburg.
Her close friend, writer Reinet Louw Kemp expressed her condolences on a Facebook post on Monday morning.

“Our dear friend Christine Basson – and for a lot of people the strong, moederlike Nora Naude from Egoli – is quiet home this morning. We will miss her.”‘
Condolences have been pouring in on various social media platforms.

Christine was a professional actress, drama teacher and radio presenter for the past 30 years.
