“We have linked the suspects to seven crimes in Durban North, two in Greenwood Park and one in Inanda ranging between house break-ins and house robberies. The duo have been previously arrested for break-ins and theft in 2000 and 2009 respectively,” said Deokaran.
The suspects, made up of four members (one of whom is still at large) are believed to be from Amaoti.

“They have made their first appearance in court and they’ve been remanded back into custody while our investigations continue. Detectives Sipho Shezi and Nhlakanipho Ngcobo are working on the case. This is a major breakthrough with regards to armed robberies in the area,” he said.
