The Sharks Trail Adventure is a family day out that offers something for everyone, as well as entertainment and lifestyle activities once you’re done riding or running.

The beautiful Summerveld Estate offers a wonderful venue to stage this event, and a superb spot to spend a Summer Sunday lazing among the avenue of plain trees surrounding the race track on site.

One of the many draw cards include the exclusive Sunday staging of the famous Shongweni Farmers market on site at the event, as well as a stage and live entertainment.

The event includes six different rides and runs with four rides and two different trail runs for the whole family to choose from.

For those more serious riders, the flagship event of the Sharks Trail is the 40km MTB race. For those that are less serious there is a 20km MTB ride and also a 10km Family Ride.

One of the most popular events on the day is the Sharkie Kids Ride. Kids are encouraged to join Sharkie as he leads the little ones around the Summerveld Estate.
