A healing touch

Hayley’s own traumatic rape experience has equipped her with the necessary skills to help other rape and trauma survivors to heal their lives.

RESILIENT and compassionate are two words that come to mind when you meet Hayley Rautenbach, a woman with a big heart and an all-consuming passion to help both human and animals suffering physical, emotional or behavioural issues.

Hayley is a transformational coach, rape and trauma therapist, specialised energy healer, clairvoyant and animal whisperer. At Hayley Healing, she dedicates her time to taking those who are overwhelmed and / or traumatised, and working with them through coaching, guidance and teachings onto a path of healing and wholeness.

Hayley’s own personal traumatic experience in May 2015 when she was raped has equipped her with not only understanding and empathy for other rape and trauma survivors, but also with skills to help them on the journey to recovery. “I know what they are going through, I went through the long process of healing after my own experience,” she said.

“My whole life was deeply impacted after I was raped. It threw me into complete turmoil. Thankfully, as I persisted to heal from this devastating experience, a whole new realm of healing work opened up for me. The more I healed, the more I felt compelled to share my healing processes with others.”

Hayley offers clients energetic healing, coaching, guidance and teachings which are all aimed at helping both people and their pets in overcoming physical, emotional or behavioural issues. “I not only offer in-person consultations, but remote (distance) consults as well. This enables me to help those in need anywhere in the world,” she said.

She has a number of healing tools and modalities that she draws from. With 15 years’ experience in the healing field behind her, Hayley is able to help her clients overcome blockages in their lives and give them the support, courage and skills they need to make the necessary life changes to bring about peace and balance to their lives.

“My skills in communicating with animals, combined with performing healing on them, assist with behavioural issues, creating a harmonious pack, dealing with health issues and assistance with crossing over, to name just a few benefits,” she said

Being able to help others and knowing that she makes a difference in the lives of all her clients is what gets her out of bed every morning ready to face the day, and whatever challenges come her way. Her accomplishments are many, but she is particularly proud of herself, how she survived her rape ordeal and through it found great inner strength and courage to heal. “Only when you are in a situation can you really understand the difficulties in healing day by day. Because of this I encourage all rape survivors to speak out and share their trauma, it is the only way to heal,” she said.

Her line of work has no structured hours. Hayley is often called out to help all hours of the night and weekends. “I structure my hours as best I can to accommodate others’ needs and to achieve a balance in my life. This kind of work is very emotional and I feel what the client is feeling. I need to work on myself daily to clear what I take on and to recharge,” she said

Despite how emotionally taxing her work is, Hayley says she wouldn’t change it. She is constantly looking to learn more and improve her skills so that she is better able to help others. “I just want to keep a hungry mind and be the best I can be,” she said.

She has high hopes and big dreams for the future and hopes that her messages and teachings will reach people across the globe. “I also want to write books and do more video teachings,” she said.

Her advice to other young women looking to succeed in their individual careers is simple. “Believe in yourself and always give and act from your heart, not your head. Trust your intuition and instincts.”
