Get the new SASSA card at Umhlanga Post Office

While residents can get the new card at the Umhlanga Post Office, they cannot do any new Sassa grant applications.

SOCIAL SECURITY AGENCY (Sassa) beneficiaries can breath easy as the Umhlanga Post Office finally offers the card swap service. In the past few weeks, the Northglen News has been inundated with calls from residents wanting to know where they can get the new SASSA card.

Residents are also warned that the Umhlanga Post Office does not cater for new Sassa grant applications. The deadline for renewing the card is end of September this year.

De Boer concluded by saying, “The Post Office does not have waiting chairs for citizens. So maybe take a camp chair with, although there are no major queues at the moment,” said de Boer.
