Glenashley fisherman robbed at knife-point

Three men robbed the fisherman at knife-point.

A FISHERMAN was robbed at knife-point along the Glensahshley promenade on Thursday morning. The incident happened just before noon.

According to Captain Raymond Deokaram, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, the man was accosted by three men before he got into his car.

“The victim had opened the back door and leaned into his car when one of the suspects yanked him out. One of the suspects produced a knife and held it against his throat,” he said.

The men then searched him and robbed him of his cell phone, bank cards and R200, added Deokaran.
