WATCH: Video of Northwood boys doing the ‘vosho’ goes viral

The video has been viewed over 300 000 times since it was uploaded onto Twitter.

A VIDEO of a group of Northwood School learners  in Durban North doing a popular South African dance move called the ‘head vosho’ has gone viral.

Since it had been uploaded on Twitter late last month the video has been viewed over 300 000 times, and has garnered over 8 000 likes and more than 3 000 retweets.

Jenni-Lyn van Niekerk, the school’s marketing manager said the video had been filmed just after an assembly.

“They were gearing up for Old Boys Day and the hype was still running high. It wasn’t just this group that got wrapped up in up in the hype, they just happened to be caught on camera,” explained Van Niekerk.

“This video has brought so much joy not only to the Northwood and Durban North community but to all who have viewed it country wide. It is wonderful when without anyone watching, the boys project this type of energy and pride for their school. Under normal circumstances, the shirt hanging out would be an issue, but in this case we will let it slide!” she added.
