VIDEO: Heartbreaking appeal for safe return of baby Siphesihle

In a video released on the ‘Help Find Missing Siphesihle’ Facebook page, her mother said she just wanted her child back.

MXOLISI Ngwane and Thabisile Dlamini, the father and mother of the missing three-year-old Siphesihle Dlamini‚ have made a heart wrenching appeal calling for the safe return of their young daughter.

Siphesihle went missing on New Year’s Eve during an early morning church service in Amandawe, on the KZN south coast.

In a video released on the ‘Help Find Missing Siphesihle’ Facebook page, the couple explained they were recently called to a mortuary in Witbank to identify the body of a baby girl who was found. However, the baby girl was not that of Siphesihle.

Her mother, overcome with emotion said, ‘I just want my child back.’

A R40 000 reward has been offered for the return of the youngster and Brad Nathanson Investigations is working on the case along with SAPS, Pink Ladies and other investigators.

Durban North/Umhlanga Crisis Team (DNUCT) member, Carol van Tonder, is one of a number of volunteers behind the scenes helping both Siphesihle’s parents.

“We encourage people to join the Facebook page ‘Help Find Missing Siphesihle’ and share the post as this will create awareness. Donations can also be made towards the reward. Someone out there hopefully will see her or knows something and will report it,” she said.
