The Brother’s Guest House, in one of Durban’s oldest established suburbs is situated in the up-market suburb of Durban North close to all the city’s major attractions. The namesakes of the establishment, the Smith brothers, both married ladies named Robin/Robyn.

Stephen and Robyn Smith, natives of Durban run the B&B, while Graeme and Robin live in the USA but travel to South Africa as frequently as life allows. Graeme and Robin said they felt Stephen and Robyn were “the perfect candidates to be our guest coordinators and run the house.”

The Name itself was thought up by Robin, Graeme’s wife who said it seemed like a fitting name for “keeping it in the family”, so to speak!

“Our goal is to offer a versatile and comfortable house to the guests which can range from the traveling businessperson, holiday makers or international travelers.” The experience of the Smith brothers in both local lifestyle and international travel gives them insight into the needs of both local and international guests and how best to meet them.

The guest house offer nothing short of the perfect environment for business people or holiday makers to relax.  The hospitality and professionalism of the Smiths extends to a concierge service which can arrange arrange activities from wildlife viewing and fishing to golf and hiking for international visitors.
