‘We need your help to find Siphesihle’ says Crisis team member

A private investigator is working on the case along with SAPS, Pink Ladies and other investigators.

WEDNESDAY will mark a month since the disappearance of Siphesihle Zamangwane Dlamini, who went missing on 31 December. The three-year-old was last seen playing outside a church at Amandawe on the KZN south coast, wearing a pink dress with white stripes. Since her disappearance, various organisations have banded together to help find the little girl.

A R30 000 reward has also has been offered and Brad Nathanson Investigations is working on the case along with SAPS, Pink Ladies and other investigators.

Durban North/Umhlanga Crisis Team (DNUCT) member, Carol van Tonder, is one of a number of volunteers behind the scenes helping both Siphesihle’s parents.

“I have spoken to her parents a few times and they are heartbroken. We encourage people to join the Facebook page ‘Help Find Missing Siphesihle’ and share the post as this will create awareness. Donations can also be made towards the reward. Someone out there hopefully will see her or knows something and will report it.

“All we can hope for is that someone took her as their own. The trauma for parents losing an innocent child is immense and the longer it takes to find her, hope starts to diminish. They need all the support and prayers of the South African people,” she said.
