Armed men tie up residents in La Lucia house robbery

The armed suspects remain at large, says Durban North SAPS.

TWO suspects stormed a home on William Campbell Drive in the early hours of Monday morning in an armed robbery. According to Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, the incident occurred just after 2.30am in La Lucia.

“The suspects attempted to break-in to the home but one of the residents heard a noise and came out of her room to investigate. She was confronted by the three suspects who were armed. They then tied both occupants of the home up while they ransacked the home. The men stole jewellery, cell phones and various other items,” he said.
