Police search for missing Durban North woman

Siam Lee was last seen wearing a cream cotton dress on Margaret Maytom on Thursday afternoon.

DURBAN North police has appealed to the public to be on the lookout for a 20-year-old woman who is missing. According to Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the station, Siam Lee was last seen on Margaret Maytom Avenue, Durban North on Thursday evening.

“A case of missing persons has been opened and we are currently looking for the young woman. We found her shoes at the scene of where she was last seen. We are appealing to anyone with information to contact the station on 031 560 8049 and ask for me or Capt Mundree,” he said.

Carol van Tonder of the Durban North/uMhlanga Crisis Team (DNUCT) is also assisting in the case.

“She was last seen wearing a cream cotton dress with no shoes. I urge people to also contact me on 084 810 4469 as we are assisting the family,” van Tonder said.
