The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

TWO people have been treated for minor smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a home on Rinaldo Road just after 2pm today. According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, a mother and her son, who were in the granny flat managed to escape unscathed.

Firefighters have been battling the blaze for more than 30 minutes and are yet to extinguish the flames.
