October Beer Fest fever hits uMhlanga this Friday

Get down to Chartwell Drive to start off your weekend.

THE inaugural October Beer Festival is set to rock uMhlanga on Friday, 27 October at Granada Square from  4pm until 11pm.

Expect chilled vibes, and some of South Africa’s favourite beers as you sip on some tipple while enjoying a warm friendly setting with good company, and entertainment by well-known Durban DJ, DJ Spike, is sure to start the weekend off in the best way.

Some fine brews will be on offer plus visitors will be able to challenge their mates at the popular party game,  beer pong.

Delicious food is also on offer including half Eisbein and sauerkraut, half footlong Brockwurst with relish and onions, Pulled chicken on sourdough, Apple strudel, German Lasagne, German gnocchi with chorizo. Plus, there will also be restaurant specials.

Tickets are now available through Zapper and Webtickets at a cost of R125 per person which includes two beverage tokens and a free beer glass. For those needing more tokens, they can be bought at R25 each, on the night.

Strictly no Under 18’s and for the non-beer drinkers, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. The festival still encourages drinking responsibly.
