Woman in critical condition after uMhlanga balcony fall
The woman was placed on a ventilator following the fall.
AN UMHLANGA woman is in a critical condition after falling several metres from a balcony of an apartment in uMhlanga. According to Nick Dollman, Netcare 911 the woman is around 30 years old.
“Reports from the scene allege that the woman had fallen from the balcony before being found in an enclosed area in another apartment on the ground floor. Paramedics used a ladder from the Netcare 911 Rescue Unit to climb over the high walls to gain access to the patient.
“Advanced Life Support paramedics attended to the woman who is believed to be approximately 30 years old. She was unresponsive and in a critical condition having sustained severe injuries and was placed on a ventilator at the scene before being transported to hospital,” he said.
