Sorisha Naidoo talks business at Hirsch’s

uMhlanga's Sorisha Naidoo shares her top three tips for business success.

ACTRESS, business entrepreneur, socialite and former Miss India South Africa Sorisha Naidoo, was the guest speaker a business networking breakfast hosted at Hirsch’s in uMhlanga this week.  The former beauty queen gave her tips and advice on how women could start their own businesses. She also shed some light on how women can endure the difficult times when running their own company or brand.

Sorisha Naidoo, is married to Durban entrepreneur Vivian Reddy and is also the mother of two children.

Naidoo who owns Umhlanga Laser & Aesthetic Clinic in uMhlanga told keen listeners at the  monthly business breakfast that her heart belongs in Durban.

Niadoo told guests: “If you are not passionate about what you do and you don’t love what you do then you should not be doing it.”

Sorisha’s 3 top tips to starting a business:

  1. When starting a small business – start online- advertising is free.
  2. When you have a particular name or brand buy the entire domain from the internet (.co.za and .com) for example if your business name is “fab nails salon” buy the domain fabnailssalon.co.za and fabnailssalon.com.
  3. You have to network. Be approachable and kind to people you meet and treat your staff well with deserving incentives.
