THE South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a warning ahead of the ‘intense cut-off low system’ that will affect part of the country and KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday.
According to the service, severe thunderstorms are expected over central parts of KZN. They added heavy rain was expected for parts of southern KZN.

They added severe thunderstorms have been recorded over western parts of KZN moving south-east with a possibility of hail, strong wind gusts and heavy downpours.
Disruptive snowfalls are also expected over the southern Drakensberg from Monday night into Tuesday morning.
