Suspects ransack uMhlanga man’s house
The suspects stole a number of items, including two suitcases full of clothing.
AN uMhlanga family was robbed of more than R50 000 worth of items on Saturday night. According to Captain Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, the incident occurred at a home on Kirby Close in uMhlanga.
“The suspects got into the premises from the M4 side and by cutting the electric fence. They then forced a sliding door open before ransacking the house.
“The gang took two suitcases full of clothing and emptied out the cupboards. Two TVs, a camera and cell phones in excess of R50 000 were taken in the robbery,” he said.
Police and Marshall Security searched for the suspects but were unsuccessful.
