WATCH: Family trapped in house by giant spider
The eight-legged arachnid has been dubbed “Aragog”, a reference to the giant spider in the Harry Potter series.
A VIDEO of a giant huntsman spider terrorising an Australian family has gone viral. According to reports, the family was trapped in their home after a venomous huntsman spider blocked their doorway.
Lauren Ansell and her partner said they were unable to enter their garden in Mount Coolum, Queensland, because of the arachnid.
The family even attempted to hold up their pet cat, to scare the giant spider away, but it is all in vain.
