Biker in critical condition after N2 accident
The left lane has been closed due to the accident scene.
TWO people have been injured after a collision involving a bakkie, a bike and a truck on the N2. According to Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care, the accident occurred on the N2 northbound just before the Queen Nandi Drive off-ramp.
“At this point it’s unclear what caused the accident. The biker is in a critical condition and was treated by Advanced Life Support paramedics. The passenger of the bakkie is entrapped in the vehicle after it was stuck under the truck. The Durban Fire Department are currently working to free the injured man,” he said.
Just last month on the N2, four people were killed in a horror crash involving a taxi and a truck.
