Enjoy wine festival over Bastille Day celebrations

Bastille Day is the common name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Day, which is celebrated on 14 July each year.

COME 13-15 July 2017, the Bastille Day Wine Festival; set to be one of KZN’s most fun-filled food-and-wine extravaganzas of the year, will be hosted at Granada Square in the heart of uMhlanga.

Bastille Day is the common name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Day, which is celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, the French National Day commemorates the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution, as well as the Fête de la Fédération which celebrated the unity of the French people on 14 July 1790.

Whether you are French or not, celebrate with superb wine on offer from over 35 wine estates and delectable European inspired gourmet food that will be available at the festival from uMhlanga’s premier eateries.

From 6pm on Thursday, 13 July, and from 2pm on Saturday, 15 July enjoy live entertainment that will bring ‘joie de vivre’ to the festival of France while the restaurants will be having amazing in house specials on Friday, 14 July from 6pm to mark the occasion. Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Tickets which cost R125 per ticket for each day, includes a festival glass and tokens to use.
