TWO people have been injured after the protest action in the Umgeni Road area turned explosive just under a hour ago.
According to Rescue Care’s Garreth Jamieson, the two men, aged 29 and 35 sustained minor injuries after protesters tossed a petrol bomb at a truck on Umgeni Road.
This follows the ongoing protest action from this morning.
Protesters have reportedly been dispersed.
