Guard makes gruesome discovery in La Lucia
The fetus was discovered by a security guard.
THE body of new born baby was found in packet under a tree on Armstrong Avenue on Sunday afternoon. According to Kyle van Reenen of Crisis Medical, the body was found by security guard.
“The body of the new born baby was found in packet under a tree. The gruesome discovery was made by a security guard who alerted the Marshall Security Emergency contact centre.
“Crisis Medical paramedics were dispatched to the scene and have confirmed the discovery to be the body of a new born baby The scene has been secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing,” he said.
Attempts to get hold of the Durban North SAPS spokesman have been unsuccessful.
