Comedians raise funds for medical bills

All funds raised will go towards the medical bills for Themi Venturas.

DURBAN audiences are set to enjoy a completely unique evening of belly laughter at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on Monday, 26 June at 7.30pm as John Vlismas, Aaron McIlroy and Jem Atkins, join forces for an excellent cause, to help contribute towards medical expenses for theatre all-rounder, and uMhlanga resident Themi Venturas.

John Vlismas and Aaron McIlroy are old friends and have something else in common. They both did extensive work early in their careers with the legendary Themi Venturas; recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

John, Aaron and Jem will be doing one night only of this completely one-off show in honour of their friend, and all the money they raise will go to his medical costs.

“We are not spending any money – it’s all going to the medicine,” said John.
