Support SPCA’s purr-fect sushi evening

The SPCA has urged the community to come out and support the event and have a great night out.

THE Durban & Coast SPCA are urging residents to support their sushi evening this June. Lindsey Concer, spokesperson for the animal welfare organisation said the evening was about raising awareness as to what the SPCA does.

“This is our second year hosting the event. We had such great feedback from last year’s event. Our aim was to offer something new, something that would also appeal to a different group of people. There are still many people that don’t know where we are or what we do, and through this event we hope to educate them,” Concer said.

“We’ll also have a local musician, Marcus Krenzer, who will be performing on the night. We really hope the community come out and support the event and have a great night out,” she said.

The event will be held on Thursday, 1 June at the Coffee Cats Café (2 Willowfield Crescent, Springfield Park) at 6.30pm. Entrance costs R300 per person, which includes three hours of all the Tashiky Sushi you can eat, a welcome drink on arrival, a goodie bag, dessert and prizes. A cash bar will also be available.
