Double celebration for Robin Hood Foundation

The new look website allows for faster navigation and for a smoother, more user-friendly experience.

THE Robin Hood Foundation launched their newly revamped website recently, in celebration of their twelfth birthday. The new look website, www.robinhoodfoundation.co.za, allows for faster navigation and for a smoother, more user-friendly experience.

The Robin Hood Foundation’s core values, equality, visionary leadership, community and empowerment, remain a common thread throughout the website design and the rotating banner on the home page provides a glimpse into the five core projects that they run throughout the year. In addition to links to their blog and social media pages, quick links to ‘projects’, ‘events’ ‘newsletter sign up’ and ‘get involved’ are easily accessible.

The entire website revamp was professionally handled by Chilli Source Design, a full service branding, design and marketing agency.

“In our twelfth year of serving the community we remain committed to mobilising resources from businesses and individuals and distributing them directly into the hands of the poor grannies, needy mums and children in our surrounding impoverished and AIDS-affected communities,” said Cindy Norcott – Robin Hood Foundation chairperson.

Having already completed 45 projects since the beginning of the year, Kim Griffith Jones (Robin Hood Foundation co-ordinator) said they have many more exciting initiatives lined up for 2017.

“In next quarter we will be launching the ‘buy-a-brick’ campaign in the next few weeks towards a structural build and upgrade of a dilapidated crèche we recently visited in rural Ntshongweni. Other campaigns include our ‘Chicken stew for the soul’ Winter Warmth initiative which we will launch in June and our Hope Carnival at Stonehaven Castle in July. We will bless 120 orphaned and vulnerable children with a morning of fun and provide them with school uniforms and stationery for the third term. ”
