Three dead in rush hour crash

A car carrying five people was involved in a collision with a taxi at Rosary Road and Queen Nandi Drive.

TWO MEN and a woman have been declared dead at the scene of a crash between a taxi and a VW Polo this morning.

The incident occurred shortly before 8am at Rosary Road and Queen Nandi Drive.

According to Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson, five people were in the car while there was only a driver in the taxi.

“The driver of the taxi is not injured, one passenger sustained moderate injuries and has been transported to a hospital for further care, while the female unfortunately passed away despite paramedics efforts to resuscitate her,” Garrith Jamieson said.
