Fake Google phishing message hits Gmail

Google has urged Gmail account users not to open the email.

GMAIL has warned of a new phishing attack that has appeared in inboxes around the world. The message asks you to open a Google Docs which is a phishing email disguised as a contact attempting to share a file.

Google released a statement Wednesday, saying it had  taken action to protect users against the impersonating email.

Those affected are urged to visit the website listed in the tweet above.
