Porsche stolen in La Lucia robbery

The luxury vehicle valued at more than a R1-million was taken from an Addison Drive home.

A LA Lucia homeowner was robbed by six armed men on Addison Drive just after 12.50pm today. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the resident was entering her driveway when a white vehicle parked behind her Porsche Cayenne.

“Six men alighted from the vehicle, armed with hand guns ordering her out of her Porsche. The men demanded she let them into the house, where they ransacked the premises, taking various items of jewellery, a firearm as well as an undisclosed amount of cash, before taking the woman’s vehicle and making off in an unknown direction.

“The stolen motor vehicle, a black Porsche, was fitted with a satellite tracking device, monitored by Tracker and the Marshall Security Special Operations Team were activated to assist.  A tracker signal was found in the Inanda area and after a brief tracking period, the vehicle was found abandoned, still idling, on a dirt road. The suspects remain at large,” he said.
