Hope for Hunter as R100 000 raised in four days

The family's request for witnesses was answered as someone came forward over the weekend.

ABOUT R100 000 was raised in just four days for Hunter Tilling. The 23 year-old Pinetown resident, has been in a coma ever since she was involved in a head-on-collision over the Easter weekend. The accident occurred at about 6pm on Good Friday, along Riverside Road.

A Facebook page called Help Hunter Tilling was started on Thursday in order to raise funds for Tilling’s medical bills after she was left without medical aid coverage, shortly prior to starting a new job.

According to close family friend, Bridget Studzinski, a simultaneous call by the family for witnesses to the event, was answered. She said that a man saying he saw the collision and who had called the emergency services, contacted them over the weekend.

Unfortunately, Tilling’s condition had not changed when Studzinski was contacted on Sunday for an update to the 23 year-old’s situation.
